- טְרַקII (cmp. טְרַד II) to bolt, tie, gird; to guard. Targ. Ps. 35:3, v. טרוקיתקא.Ber.28a טְרוֹקוּ גלי; Snh.113a דטַרְקֵיה, v. גַּלָּא. B. Mets.88a וטַרְקֵיה לבבאוכ׳ and bolted the door before him. Erub.102a דין לא נִטְרוֹק this must not bolt, i. e. with this bolt as it is you dare not bolt or unbolt. Part. pass. טָרִיק locked up. Targ. Job 26:13 (h. text בָּרִחַ).
